Demons are not as scary as on TV and film stories about the craft and can in most cases be persuaded to do what we want them to.
A demon is, in proportion to a full witch, not at all strong, although may present problems for an apprentice or non witch. They may be in fact difficult to detect for a person who has not acquired the knowledge, and even many witches cannot see them directly without a coven or group of three, but see the result or trail they have left.
A demon who is not working in co-operation with a person tends to make things keep going wrong, just about everything they try, relationships, interests etc all go wrong. You then find a depressed person who has often got into quite a state. Often they will think that in part it is connected with something they have done, but often cannot identify what.
The demon is a small part on an entity usually, that has attached itself to a person for some reason, sometimes due to the actions our entity took in a previous life, and sometimes due to harm you have done to someone in this life time, or doing harm indirectly by concentrating on our own interests without considering others. This has the effect of attracted the negative energy to you.
Demons when found can be made to appear in front of us, and given a task to do, making it undertake a positive task. takes it away from its current fixation.
