What we wear

For normal life we wear what makes us look fantastic, items individually selected to give us the impact we want to produce. Often it can be said that the ideal is to wear just what is needed to add some mystery and be acceptable and not a lot more.

For tasks where the public are about, seeking out demons and ghosts and the like we wear comfortable and practical clothing, usually something casual that still makes us look good and gives us loads of confidence.

When talking or working with other traditions we wear whatever they are wearing on the occasion, but we always know in advance and often discuss what we feel is most appropriate. being attractive women, with no hang ups on nudity we are often less concerned about the amount we wear than they are.

Ritual done as a group of three in private, is either done skyclade (in the nude) or wearing a loose fitting dressing gown only. Many traditional witches instead of going skyclade can choose at times to wear something lacey that allows air, smells etc through, but reflects light so gets over shyness. In rituals where the full witch gives her promise etc and in the making of a high priestess, you can wear something lacey to start, but for a part of the ceremony will be skyclade. Any other time that you will be involved in wearing less than a swim suit you would be told in advance.

Although many new to the craft think they would be too shy to go skyclade, when everyone is doing the same, it is far more like naturalist than a strip show, and most are perfectly happy immediately. Given the choice, many choose to work skyclade.
